India trade deficit in July widens to $27.35 billion
NEW DELHI, Aug 14 (Reuters) - India's merchandise trade deficit (INTRD=ECI), opens new tab in July stood at $27.35 billion, according to a Reuters calculations based on export and import data released by the government on Thursday.
Economists had expected the July trade deficit to be $20.35 billion, per a Reuters poll, compared to $18.78 billion in the previous month.
